Signal Technician with SISÄ Competence Wanted in Hallsberg

On September 1, 2026, Infranord will take over the responsibility for maintenance on the Western Main Line Hallsberg–Laxå and Hallsberg Marshalling Yard. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Signal Technician in Hallsberg, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work will vary between new construction, inspection, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. You will also document controls and fault reports in our internal systems.

You will be based in Hallsberg. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night shifts. On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or Signal Technology.
• Approved basic signal training, e.g., BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Basics (BSGS)
• Professional experience in signaling work within the railway.
• SISÄ authorization
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and extra low voltage
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS Leader)
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E-protection and road guard
• Familiarity with various relay or computer-based signal interlockings (e.g., model 59, 85, 95, etc.)
• ATC equipment and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
